Rabbits are wonderful animals with unique needs, and Pieper Veterinary’s Avian & Exotics specialty team is here to provide high-quality medical care for your beloved pet bunny.
Call us at (860) 831-4418 to schedule an appointment.
Dr. Sojka and our Avian & Exotics team are highly knowledgeable and experienced with caring for rabbits of all breeds and ages, and can provide both primary care services as well as care for when they are sick or injured. Dr. Sojka sees patients Wednesday – Saturday from 9am – 5pm at 730 Randolph Rd in Middletown. For all other hours, Pieper emergency room veterinarians can provide basic assessment and triage for some common conditions, and can transfer them to the care of Dr. Sojka as needed.
Rabbits are the third most popular pet in the United States, and it’s easy to see why – they’re cute, packed with personality, and make entertaining and rewarding companions for millions of families. But just like cats and dogs, rabbits have special care needs, quirks, and medical requirements. A healthy rabbit can live for 8 – 12 years, so it’s very important to make sure your bunny receives all the love and care they need to live a full, healthy life with you.
