Specialty Surgery

Page Title

At Pieper Veterinary, our board-certified surgeons offer a broad array of traditional and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Your primary veterinarian may choose to refer you to our surgery department on a consultative or emergency basis should your pet require advanced anesthesia, surgery, or pre-operative and post-operative supportive care.

While at Pieper Veterinary, your pet will have access to digital radiography (X-rays), ultrasonography, and advanced imaging including MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and CT (Computed Tomography) scans. This technology is available to aid in optimal diagnosis and surgical treatment planning.

We are proud to host a regional Antech Diagnostics Laboratory on-site. This reference laboratory can supply timely diagnostic results, assisting us in providing informed options for the care and treatment of your pet.

Working with your Primary Care Veterinarian

Your general practice veterinarian is an important part of your pet’s health and we work as an extension of their services when advanced or after-hours treatment is necessary. We will notify your veterinarian that your pet visited our surgical service, and provide them with treatment and follow-up information to continue your pet’s care once you leave our hospital.
