Lauren DelTosta, DVM

Veterinarian - Primary Care

Dr. Lauren DelTosta is a primary care veterinarian with over 10 years of experience. She has recently joined us in the Marlborough office. She is a Connecticut native who earned her BS from Saint Joseph College and then went on to obtain her veterinary degree from Saint George’s University. She is a member of the AVMA and holds an interest in preventative medicine.

Dr. DelTosta has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She loves formed relationships with clients to help keep their pets healthy and happy for as long as possible.

Outside the hospital, Dr. DelTosta loves spending time with her husband, two children and the best Labrador Retriever. She enjoys swimming, traveling and going to the beach.

Brianna L. Molter, DVM, CVA

Veterinarian - Primary Care

Dr. Molter earned her undergraduate degree from Saint Lawrence University and her DVM from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She brings special skills and interests in ultrasonography and was the 2018 recipient of the American College of Veterinary Radiology Senior Student Award. Since she grew up in Glastonbury, she was excited to return to the local area with her husband and two young daughters. They have a cat named Louie and a rabbit named Bee. She enjoys horseback riding, hiking, learning about local plants and wildlife and swimming. She also loves to cook and enjoys all of the fresh local products that are available in the area!

Amanda DeJesus, DVM

Veterinarian - Primary Care

A Southern California native, Dr. DeJesus received her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences located in Los Angeles in May 2021. Having family in Stonington, she visited many summers while growing up and always found herself wanting to come back to New England.

Dr. DeJesus finally made the move to Connecticut during her last year of veterinary school. She has a passion for animal rescue, preventative care and community outreach. Dr. DeJesus looks forward to learning new and evolving skills from her team at the Lebanon Veterinary Hospital, as well as establishing lifelong relationships with clients and their beloved furry family members. Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. DeJesus enjoys DIYing her first home, searching out the best locally owned restaurants and planning her next family adventure.

Steven R. Zickmann, DVM

Veterinarian - Primary Care

Dr. Zickmann (Dr. Z) graduated from the University of Berlin Veterinary School in 1986. After working in Heidelberg for a year he came back home to New England. He and his wife bought the veterinary practice in Lebanon from retiring Dr. Baldwin in 2004. Dr. Z has a special interest in surgery and internal medicine. He is a friend to many Greyhounds and Frenchies, having had several of his own. Dr. Z actively supports the local dog and cat rescue groups, as well as helping injured local wildlife. In his free time he enjoys family activities with his wife Susan and their two children Gabby and Zack. He likes gardening, hiking, dirt-biking and skiing as well as keeping up with their 200 year old historic home and barn. Dr. Z is USDA accredited for international health certificates.

Morgan Oberhausen, DVM, MA

Veterinarian- Primary Care

Dr. Morgan Oberhausen is an Associate Veterinarian with a passion for preventive medicine and building lasting relationships with pets and their families. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine and completed an Equine and Small Ruminant Internship at Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center in California. Dr. Oberhausen focuses on providing comprehensive wellness care, emphasizing preventive screenings, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and treatment plans tailored to both patient needs and owner capabilities.

Her professional interests include clinical pathology, infectious and zoonotic diseases, ophthalmology, and advances in pain management, particularly the use of local anesthetic blocks and multimodal pain control. Dr. Oberhausen enjoys the diversity of general practice, where she can combine surgery, diagnostics, preventive care, and clinical pathology to help patients thrive.

Raised on a hobby farm, Dr. Oberhausen developed an early appreciation for animal health and physiology. Outside of work, she enjoys hot yoga, running, cross-country skiing, hiking, and exploring national parks with her husband. She also shares her home with a friendly and affectionate cat.

Samantha Monck, DVM, DACVS – Small Animal

Veterinarian - Specialist

Dr. Samantha Monck is a Veterinary Surgeon at Pieper Veterinary, practicing with a focus on small animal surgery. She joined the Pieper team in September 2025. Originally from Orange, Connecticut, Dr. Monck brings advanced surgical training and a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to every case.

Dr. Monck earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont in 2015 before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University in 2019. She went on to complete a small animal surgery internship from 2021 to 2022, followed by a small animal surgery residency from 2022 to 2025 at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her additional training includes advanced coursework in arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, and fracture management.

Outside of work, Dr. Monck enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancé, Elliot, especially running, biking, kayaking, and hiking. She shares her home with two pets: Lucy, an 8-year-old female gray tabby cat, and Murph, a 5-month-old male Pointer/Hound mix who keeps her on her toes.

Brigid Lemburg, DVM, DACVECC

Veterinarian - Specialist

Dr. Brigid Lemburg is a board-certified Criticalist at Pieper Veterinary. She joined the team in September 2025 and brings advanced training and a deep commitment to caring for critically ill patients. Originally from Iowa, Dr. Lemburg is passionate about helping patients recover through the most challenging moments of illness and injury.

Dr. Lemburg earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Iowa in 2016 before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Iowa State University in 2020. She went on to complete an internship and residency at the University of Wisconsin from 2020 to 2024, achieving board certification in veterinary emergency and critical care.

Dr. Lemburg finds the greatest fulfillment in seeing critical care patients recover and watching their personalities and joy return. Outside of work, she shares her home with her cat, Stanley, whom she proudly describes as the most perfect thing ever.

Zach Stillman, DVM

Veterinarian- Specialist

Dr. Zachary Stillman is a Veterinarian practicing Emergency and Critical Care at Pieper Veterinary. He joined the team in September 2025 after completing a small animal rotating internship at Pieper Memorial. Originally from the Hudson Valley region of New York, Dr. Stillman brings a strong foundation in emergency medicine and a compassionate, thoughtful approach to patient care.

Dr. Stillman earned his Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Mercy College in 2016 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in 2021. He went on to complete a residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at Pieper Memorial from 2022 to 2025. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS).

Dr. Stillman lives in Rhode Island with his partner, Cilicia, and their chihuahua, Pancho. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, playing video games, and hiking.

Michael Hitt, DVM, Practice Limited to Surgery

Veterinarian - Specialist

Dr. Michael Hitt is a Surgery Resident who has been with Pieper Veterinary starting in the summer of 2021. Originally from Albany, NY, Dr. Hitt graduated from the College of Saint Rose with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, and obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2020. He completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine at Cornell University and an internship in small animal surgery at Pieper Veterinary. He has clinical interests in emergency surgery and fracture repairs and management.

During veterinary school Dr. Hitt adopted his husky mix “Thatcher,” who has been by his side through all of his subsequent training and education. When not at work, he enjoys snowboarding, jet skiing, working on his car, and spending time with Thatcher.
